Medal of the Imperial Brazil Order of Cultural Merit
The medal was based on the first Brazilian order, the Order of the Southern Cross, established after Independence, which in turn was based on the French Legion Order, conceived by the famous painter David in the early 19th century. To honor the partners and friends who will contribute to the Institute and its related activities, the Executive Board of Instituto Brasil Imperial instituted this medal. Handcrafted, resined and enamelled, with 1/1000 gold bath. 7x5 cm. Includes tape, case and diploma registered with the IBI.
